Invest with Purpose...Yours

Our approach to investment management is built on the pillars of personal attention and independent thinking.  Because there is no "one size fits all" portfolio, our recommendations are based on each client's unique purpose - their objectives, their needs, and their risk tolerance.  However, sound principals are universal, and we incorporate the following into our strategies:

Invest with Goals In Mind - Investment choices should be made based on the intended goals of a portfolio and not based on the over or under performance of a market benchmark.

Invest with Flexibility - A good investment process should allow for flexibility to adapt as the investment landscape changes.

Invest with Humility - Invest with the understanding that future events cannot be predicted with certainty. Conversely, investing with arrogance leads to failure.

Invest with a Margin of Preservation - In order to limit downside risk, minimize or eliminate investments where little to no margin of preservation exists.

Diversify Investments - Build wealth by being concentrated; preserve wealth by being diversified. (There is no guarantee that a diversified portfolio will enhance overall returns or outperform a non-diversified portfolio. Diversification does not protect against market risk.)

In order to implement these principles into client portfolios, we utilize the services of Merit Financial Group's investment committee as our investment architect.*  Working directly with their Chief Investment Officer, we endeavor to create optimized investment solutions for each of our clients.  Additionally, we maintain relationships with three national broker-dealers to custody our client accounts:  LPL Financial and Fidelity Investments.

Finally, as a fee-based advisor we do not create or sell any products, nor do we accept commissions.  This approach allows us to maintain uncompromising objectivity, leaving the interests of our clients foremost in our minds.
